After having successfully led various organizations at mid to large sized companies, I’ve decided to create my own small consulting firm and continue to work as an independent consultant. Our focus is on offering services that help individuals and teams achieve their business objectives and with an emphasis on personal and professional development.

From an industry perspective, I have led teams in Telecom (AT&T), Business Process Outsourcing (IBM), Language Training (Berlitz), and Clinical Research (Parexel). Much of my experience has been as a Senior Leader in the fields of Human Resources and Learning and Development (L&D), and my expertise has been in creating, consolidating and directing teams through times of transformation - in both centralized and decentralized environments.

I bring a solid reputation for effective cross-cultural collaboration and teaming, having traveled and partnered with colleagues and managed managers across the globe. I have led and supported direct staff in the US, Canada, Latin America, the UK, Germany, Romania, India, China, Japan, and Australia.

In addition to working with managers and employees in 1-on-1 situations, I maintain and enjoy a passion for instructing and teaching. Training course delivery and seeking opportunities to help employees, and especially managers, enhance their skill sets in the areas of leadership, supervision, performance management and communications are services I'm proud to offer.

Other Interests Outside of the Corporate World
  • Co-Founder and past two-term Board of Trustees President and Board Advisor of The Bridge Academy, Inc. which is a private, non-profit school for children ages 8 - 18 with language-based learning differences.

  • In 2019, moved from NJ to a small farm near the Blue Ridge Mountains and located on the Shenandoah River. Enjoying raising a few steers and chickens and occasionally driving a tractor.

  • Married 40+ years and we successfully raised three daughters - and have three grand children.

  • Hobbies include farming, gardening, traveling, camping, fishing, clay target shooting and reading and writing.

  • Developed and presented a series of public seminars at major cities across the US in support of a company's Telecommute America initiative.

  • Developed and effectively delivered F2F and virtual presentations, training programs, and quick-hit learning seminars to audiences ranging from 5 to 500+.

  • Being home-based for more than 15 years, frequently called upon to present or facilitate sessions on Working from Home and Leading from a Distance.

  • 30+ years' experience leading and managing managers and employees (organizations) across multiple industries and of various sizes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with vendor partners in a collaborative approach to ensure services are delivered in a quality, timely, and cost-effective manner.

  • Created and managed the on-boarding process of new employees in a way that supported retention, employee satisfaction, and reduced time-to-productivity.

As a Process Owner and Operations Leader
  • Recruited on multiple occasions to create a centralized training operations team and support and deployment processes enabling global training delivery.

  • Served as the Global Process Leader for providing E2E learning services to multiple outsource clients in various industries and to consumers of technical training.

  • Led the integration and consolidation of training resources as a result of a major merger and acquisition within the Telecom industry.

  • On multiple occasions have established dashboards, metrics, KPIs, etc. regarding training and shared services operations.

  • Successfully established and operated various learning delivery funding and course pricing models to ensure organizational full-cost budget recovery.
